Departed this life February 13, 2014. Mrs. Blanche Hopkins Brown, age 87, of Richmond. She is survived by four daughters; Carolyn Hopkins, Helda Guy, Janet Hopkins and Charlene Hopkins; two sons, William and Breon Hopkins; one step daughter, Orlyn Thornton; six grandchildren; eight great grandchildren; a host of nieces, nephews and cousins; one son-in-law, Willie Guy; one sister-in-law ,Winnie Shelton; and other relatives and friends. Remains rest at Joseph Jenkins Jr. Funeral Home, 2011 Grayland Avenue where the family will receive friends from 6:30 to 7:30 Tuesday and where funeral services will be held Wednesday at 11AM.
