Departed this life February 12, 2014. Mrs. Denise Garcia, age 57, of Richmond. She is survived by one daughter, Jamia Garcia; two grandchildren, Crede Carlisle-Garcia and Earle Carlisle III; three sisters; Mary Barbour, Melinda Watkins and Ivy Edwards-Sledge; uncle, Willie McCoy; a host of nieces, nephews and cousins; one sister-in-law, Valerie Cook; one brother-in-law, Bobby Sledge and other relatives and friends among them a devoted companion, Herman Jackson. Remains rest at Joseph Jenkins Jr. Funeral Home, 2011 Grayland Avenue where funeral services will held Wednesday, at 3PM. Family and friends assemble at the funeral home 2:45PM Wednesday.
