Departed this life February 24, 2014. Mrs. Janet T. Jackson, age 86, of Richmond. She is survived by her husband, Thomas E. Jackson; one daughter, Valerie Gilmore; three grandchildren; Jantelle, Rozlynn and Ed-Leea Gilmore; one brother, Charles Talbert; a host of nieces, nephews and cousins; one son-in-law, Edward Gilmore; three sisters-in-law, Marie Faris, Helen Lee and Louise Talbert; and other relatives and friends. Remains rest at Joseph Jenkins Jr. Funeral Home, 2011 Grayland Avenue where the family will receive friends from 5:30pm to 6:30pm thursday . Funeral services will be held 11am Friday at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses, 2737 Hungary Springs Road where remains will lie in state one hour prior to funeral time. Brother Todd Lewis off. Interment Mt. Calvary Cemetery. Family and friends assemble at the Kingdom Hall 10:45AM Friday.
