Martha Lawrence

-Departed this life March 14, 2014.  Mrs. Martha “Mattee” Lawrence, age 93, of Richmond.  She is preceded in death by her husband, Harold Lawrence and one son, Alfred Richardson. She is survived by three daughters: Geraldine Harris, Sandra Sykes and Debra Cheatham;  13 grandchildren;  20 great grandchildren;  34 great great grandchildren;  a host of nieces, nephews and cousins;  two sons in- law; one sister- in-law; and other relatives and friends among them a devoted and committed family friend, Johnnie Bodrick. Remains rest at Joseph Jenkins Jr. Funeral Home, 2011 Grayland Avenue where the family willreceive friends from 6 to 7pm Friday.  Funeral services will be held Saturday 12 Noon at New Life Deliverance Tabernacle, 900 Decatur Street where remains will lie in state one hour prior to funeral time.  Rev. Robert Winfree(pastor) off. Interment Mt.  Calvary Cemetery.  Family and friends assemble at the church 11:45AM Saturday.
