Damien Stokes

Departed this life April 4, 2014.  Damien Stokes, age 35, of Richmond.  He is preceded in death by a son, Treshawn Stokes, his mother, Valicia Downey and a brother, Charlamon Stokes.  He is survived by his wife, Tomeka Parker;  five children; Dae’Miesha, Quatavia, Titiana, Damien Jr.  and Dequane Stokes;  his father, Leroy Downey;  step son, Traveon Williams; two sisters, Chimere and Wanda Stokes;  a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins;  father and mother-in-law, Wilbert and Linda Parker;  two sisters- in- law, Sheila Parker Shelton and Sharda Parker;  three brother- in-law, Terrence Crosswhite, Barry Clarke and Antoine Smithers.  Remains rest at Joseph Jenkins Jr.  Funeral Home, 2011 Grayland Avenue.  Funeral services will be held Monday 11AM at Fifth Baptist Church, 1415 W.  Cary Street where remains will lie in state one hour prior to funeral time.  Rev.  Earl Brown(pastor).   Interment Private.  Family and friends assemble at the church 10:45AM Monday.
