David L. Butler

Departed this life April 21, 2014.  David L.”Big Dave” Butler, age 88, of Richmond.  He is survived by his wife, Robnette B. Butler; two daughters, Barbara Carter Butler and Brenda Carter Robinson;  five grandchildren;  four great grandchildren; one sister, Eleanor Butler Scroggins; a host of nieces, nephews and cousins; four sisters-in- law; LaVerne B. Jeter, Emmeline B. Satterfield, Dr. Joan B. Christian and Eulalia B. Lee(William); two brothers- in- law, Dr. Walton M. Belle M.D. and Clyde H. Belle and other relatives and friends.  Remains rest at Joseph Jenkins Jr.  Funeral Home, 2011 Grayland Avenue.  Funeral services will be held Monday 11AM at Third Street Bethel A.  M.  E. Church, 614 N. Third Street where remains will lie in state one hour prior to funeral time.  Rev. Reuben Boyd(pastor) off.  Interment Forest Lawn Cemetery.  Family and friends assemble at the church 10:45AM Monday.
