Gladys Tyler

Entered eternal rest Wednesday, April 23, 2014 surrounded by her loving family.  Deaconess Gladys Tyler, age 79, of Richmond.  She is preceded in death by her husband, Charles Tyler.  she is survived by three daughters; Diane Johnson, Linda Allen and Annie Woodson;  five grandchildren; Kadrienne and Ivana Johnson, Devron and Dorian Allen and Derrick Bates;  three sisters; Bertha Stevens, Daisy Jackson and Irene Fuller; a host of nieces, among them devoted Alma Jones, nephews and cousins;  two sons-in-law, devoted John Johnson and Rev. Gene Woodson; two sisters-in-law, Rosa Lee Cook and Marie Cook; one brother-in-law, Peyton Fuller and others relatives and friends, among them Deaconess Betty Overton.  Remains rest at Joseph Jenkins Jr  Funeral Home, 2011 Grayland Aveneu.  Funeral services will be held Monday 1pm at Fauquier Baptist Church, 2455 Dogtown Road, Goochland, VA where remains will lie in state one hour prior to funeral  time.  Rev. Melvin Woodson (pastor) off.  Interment church cemetery.  Family and friends  assemble at the church 12: 45 pm Monday.
