Josephine Arrington

Departed this life May 14, 2014. Mrs. Josephine P. Arrington of Richmond. She is preceded in death by her husband, Pilpon M. Arrington; two daughters, Rebecca Pringle and Mary Perthone; and one son, Herbert Pringle Jr. She is survived by five grandchildren; Jason Pringle, Herbert Pringle III, Javier Scott, Dianna Braxton and Zena Ray; eight great grandchildren; one sister, Lillie Madison White; one brother, George Madison Jr.; one aunt, Eleanor Spann; a host of nieces, nephews and cousins; one son-in-law, James Perthone; two sisters-in-law, Mae and Louise Madison; and other relatives and friends. Remains rest at Joseph Jenkins Jr. Funeral Home, 2011 Grayland Avenue where the family will receive friends from 6:30 to 7:30PM Monday. Funeral services will be held Tuesday 12 noon at Third Street Bethel African Methodist Episcopal Church, 614 N. Third Street where remains will lie in state one hour prior to funeral time. Rev. Reuben Boyd(pastor) off. Interment Oakwood Cemetery. Family and friends assemble at the church 11:45AM Tuesday.
