Mines, Departed this life August 2, 2008. Levi Mines of Richmond. He is survived by his wife, Ernestine G. Mines; two sons, Phillip(Butch) Mines and Addison E.(Levi) Mines Sr.; four grandchildren, Jocelyn N., Addison E. Jr., Tamara M. and Nicole Y. Mines; three great grandchildren, Armani B. Mines, DevJuan R. Archer and Tyriq C. Mines; one aunt, Emma Brown; six nieces, five nephews; a host of great nieces, great nephews and cousins, among them one devoted Mary(Elizabeth) Mines; one daughter- in-law, Gracelyn B. Mines; two sisters-in-law, Dorothy H. Mines and Hazel Lee Godbold; one brother-in-law, Willie James Godbold and other relatives and friends. Remains rest at Joseph Jenkins Jr. Funeral Home, 2011 Grayland Avenue. Funeral services will be held Thursday 1P.M. at Hood Temple African Methodist Episcopal Zion Church, 16 W. Clay Street where remains will lie in state one hour prior to funeral time. Dr. Kevin McGill(pastor) off. Interment Riverview Cemetery. Family and friends assemble at the church 12:45P.M. Thursday.
