Departed this life May 26, 2014. Samuel T. Coles Sr., age 89, of Richmond. He is preceded in death by his wife, Gertrude Miles Coles. He is survived by one son, Samuel T. Coles Jr.; one granddaughter, Saida Coles; one great grandson, Naaiem Coles-Fuller; a host of nieces, nephews and cousins; two sisters-in-law, Alease M. Phillips and Martha Miles; one brother-in-law, James Miles and other relatives and friends. Remains rest at Joseph Jenkins Jr. Funeral Home, 2011 Grayland Avenue where the family will receive friends from 6:30 to 7:30PM Thursday and where funeral services will be held Friday at 1PM. Dr. Cavell Phillips off. Interment Woodlawn Cemetery. Family and friends assemble at the funeral home 12:45PM Friday.
