Departed this life June 7, 2014. John Pettus Jr., age 70 of Richmond. He is survived by three sisters; Sallie Powell, May Barnes and Margaret Smith; four aunts; Nancy Pettus Brooks, Gwendlyn Pettus-Cooper, Lula Pettus and Rose Pettus Roane; a host of nieces, nephews and cousins; and other relatives and friends. Remains rest at Joseph Jenkins Jr. Funeral Home, 2011 Grayland Avenue where funeral services will be held Friday at 12 noon. Interment Oakwood Cemetery. Family and friends assemble at the funeral home 11:45AM Friday.
