Emmeline Satterfield

Departed this life June 27, 2014. Mrs. Emmeline Belle Satterfield, age 87, of Richmond. She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert H. Satterfield Sr. and one son, Charles T. Satterfield. She is survived by one daughter, Rose S. Foster(Nathaniel Sr.); two sons, Robert H. Satterfield Jr. and Kevin Satterfield Sr.(Havenn); nine grandchildren; five great grandchildren; four sisters; Robinette B. Butler, Laverne B. Jeter, Dr. Joan B. Christian and Eulalia B. Lee; two brothers, Dr. Walton Belle and Clyde Belle; a host of nieces, nephews and cousins; one brother-in-law, William Lee Sr.; and other relatives and friends and loved ones, among them Samuel Henderson, Rev. Rachel Taylor Satterfield and Pastor Denise Satterfield. Remains rest at Joseph Jenkins Jr. Funeral Home, 2011 Grayland Avenue where the family will receive friends from 6:30 to 7:30PM Wednesday. Funeral Services will be held Thursday 11AM at Third Street Bethel A. M. E. Church, 614 N. Third Street where remains will lie in state one hour prior to funeral time. Rev. Reuben Boyd (pastor) off. Interment Forest Lawn Cemetery. Family and friends assemble at the church 10:45AM Thursday.
