Carolyn Slaughter

Departed this life June 29. 2014. Deacon Carolyn W. Slaughter of Richmond. She was preceded in death by husband, William Slaughter and daughter, Sheila King. She is survived grandson, Jairus S. King; one brother, Leroy “Bubba” Whaley; several nieces, nephews and cousins; Godson Maurice Morgan and other relatives and friends. Funeral services will be held 11AM Saturday at Fifth Baptist Church 1415 W. Cary Street where remains will lie in state one hour prior to the service. Dr. Earl M. Brown(pastor) off. Interment Riverview Cemetery. Family, friends and organizations assemble at the church 10:45AM Saturday.
