Francine B. Evans

Departed this life August 17, 2014. Francine B. Evans, affectionately known as “Snook” . She was preceded in death by her parents, Frank and Willie Belle Baskerville, sister Mary Tucker, grandson Alonzo Evans of Alberta, Va. And nieces, Rebecca Simmons and Ashaley Baskerville. Left to cherish her memories are six children; Ida Henry, Vanessa Dickerson(George), Dale Nnakaenyi and Curtis, Danny and Bradford Evans all of Richmond; three sisters; Alice Simmons of Boydton, VA, Daisy Adams and Jo-Ann Barnes of Richmond; brother, Frank Baskerville of Alberta, Va; Ten grandchildren; twenty two great grandchildren; aunt, Alice Andrew; host of nieces, nephews and cousins; four brothers-in-law; Carol Evans(Rosa Mae), Carnell Evans(Arvella) and Lawrence Baskerville of Boydton, Va.and William Evans of New Jersey and other relatives and friends, among them devoted friend, William Tillman of Norfolk. Funeral services will be held 1PM Saturday at Joseph Jenkins Jr. Funeral Home where remains will lie in state 1hour prior funeral. Family and friends assemble at the chapel 12:45PM Saturday.
