Cherrie S. Henderson

Departed this life August 26, 2014. Mrs. Cherrie Scarborough Henderson, age 74, of Richmond. She is survived by one son, Darin Henderson; one grandson, Timothy Sequan Cox-Henderson; one brother, William Scarborough Jr.; a host of nieces, nephews and cousins; one son-in-law, Carl Cox; one sister-in-law, Caroline Scarborough; and other relatives and friends. Remains rest at Joseph Jenkins Jr. Funeral Home, 2011 Grayland Avenue where the family will receive friends from 2 to 3:30 Monday beginning with an Omega Omega Service at 2PM. Funeral services will be held 11am Tuesday at Mt. Olive Baptist Church, 8775 Mt. Olive Avenue, Glen Allen where remains will lie in state one hour prior to funeral time. Rev. Darryl Thompson(pastor) off. Interment Forest Lawn Cemetery. Family and friends assemble at the church 10:45AM Tuesday.
