Arvin, Departed this life September 21, 2008. Mrs. Ruth Arvin of Richmond. She is preceded in death by her husband, Warren J. Arvin Jr. She is survived by one daughter, Taylor Arvin; two sons, Rashan and Warren Stephens; one grandson, Aquvias Tucker; one sister, Mary Catherine Johnson; two brothers, John and Albert Thomas; a host of nieces, nephews and cousins, among them a devoted Helen C. Quarles; one daughter-in-law, Deona Wilder-Stephens; and other relatives and friends, among them Izella Haylock. Remains rest at Joseph Jenkins Jr. Funeral Home, 2011 Grayland Avenue where funeral services will be held 11A.M. on Thursday Rev. Nadine Troy off. Interment Virginia Veterans Cemetery, Amelia County. Family and friends assemble at the funeral home 10:45A.M. Thursday.
