Harris. Mrs. Gardenia L. departed this life September 21, 2014. She is survived by two daughters, Yvette Eaton and Stacey Harris; one son, Vinston Harris (Adrienne); five grandchildren; one sister, Florine Howell; three brothers, William Jr., Richard and Linwood Banks; one aunt, Manerva Gray; one uncle, Thomas Jackson; a host of nieces, nephews and cousins, among them devoted, Valerie Gilmore (Edward);three sisters-in-law, one brother-in-law and other relatives and friends. Remains rest at Joseph Jenkins Jr. Funeral Home, 2011 Grayland Avenue. Funeral services will be held Friday, 12 noon at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses, 2801 Mechanicsville Tpk., where remains will lie in state one hour prior to funeral time, Brother Garth Campbell officiating. Interment Mt. Calvary Cemetery. Family and friends assemble at the Kingdom Hall 11:45 A.M. Friday.
