Harold Lee Woods

Departed this life September 30, 2014. Harold Lee Woods, age 58, formerly of Richmond. He played professional football in the 1970s and 1980s. He is survived by his wife, Joy Woods; one son, Julian Woods; his mother, Rosie Lee Woods; three brothers, Larry, Kenneth and John Woods III; four aunts; one uncle; a host of nieces, nephews and cousins; his mother and father-in-law; three sisters-in-law; and other relatives and friends. Remains rest at Joseph Jenkins Jr. Funeral Home, 2011 Grayland Avenue where the family will receive friends from 3 to 4PM Sunday. Funeral services will be held Monday 12 noon at Triumphant Baptist Church, 2301 Lamb Avenue where remains will lie in state one hour prior to funeral time. Dr. Arthur Jones(pastor) off. Interment Oakwood Cemetery. Family and friends assemble at the church 11:45AM Monday.
