Ernestine Mines

Mines, Mrs. Ernestine Mines, age 83, of Richmond departed this life October 1, 2014. She was preceded in death by her husband, Levi Mines. She is survived by two sons, Phillip and Addison Mines, Sr.; four grandchildren; four great grandchildren; one great great grandchild; one sister, Hazel Lee Godbold; one brother, Willie J. Godbold,Sr.; one aunt, Geneva Gregory; a host of nieces, nephews and cousins; one daughter-in-law;, Gracelyn Mines; and other relatives and friends. Remains rest at Joseph Jenkins Jr. Funeral Home, 2011 Grayland Avenue. Funeral services will be held Wednesday 12 noon at Hood Temple A.M.E. Zion Church, 16 W. Clay Street where remains will lie in state one hour prior to funeral time. Rev. Tony D. Henderson(pastor) officiating. Interment Riverview Cemetery. Family and friends assemble at the church 11:45am Wednesday.
