Jane L. Bailey

Departed this life October 4, 2014. Mrs. Jane L. Bailey, age 71, of Richmond. She is preceded in death by her son, Samuel W. Bailey Jr. She is survived by a grand daughter, Erica Abbott; a devoted and loving companion, Rev. Colonius Powell Jr.; one aunt, Lenora Thompson; a host of nieces, among them a devoted Audrey Thompson; a host of nephews, among them devoted Wayne Parson and Reginald Thompson and cousins; and other relatives and friends. Remains rest at Joseph Jenkins Jr. Funeral Home, 2011 Grayland Avenue. Funeral services will be held Saturday 12 noon at Tenth Street Baptist Church, 2300 Fairmount Avenue where remains will lie in state one hour prior to funeral time. Rev. Ruth B. Crowell(pastor). Rev. Sheila Bloomfield-Williams off. Interment Forest Lawn Cemetery. Family and friends assemble at the church 11:45AM Saturday.
