Departed this life October 8, 2014. Deacon Cornelius R. “ Waddey(Lil Bro), age 60, of Richmond. He is survived by his wife, Josephine Phyllis Waddey; three daughters, Camille Chalmers, Carrie Williams and Chelsea Waddey; three sons, Demetrius, Cordell and Carneal Waddey; grandchildren; three sisters, Veronica & Maria Waddey and Donna Mabry; two brothers, Dwayne and Kevin Waddey; one aunt, Gertrude Waddey; a host of nieces, nephews and cousins; two sons-in-law, Kenneth Chalmers Jr. and Stanely Williams; his mother-in-law, Josephine Lipscomb; two sisters-in-law, Sharon Waddey and Stephanie Robinson; two brothers-in-law, Frank and Harold Lipscomb; and other relatives and friends. Remains rest at Joseph Jenkins Jr. Funeral Home, 2011 Grayland Avenue. Funeral services will be held Monday 12 noon at Pilgrim Journey Baptist Church, 7204 Bethlehem Road where remains will lie in state one hour prior to funeral time. Rev. Angelo Chatmon(pastor) off. Interment Riverview Cemetery. Family and friends assemble at the church 11:45AM Monday.
