Thomas E. Beale Sr.

Departed this life October 18, 2014. Thomas E.(Papa) Beale Sr. was born February 10, 1938. He is preceded in death by his parents, Charlie and Mary Beale; two sisters, Deloris Beale and Adelaide Beale Parks; and one brother, Preston Beale. He is survived by his wife, Shirley M. Beale; two sons, Orlando C.(Shelly) and Thomas E. Beale Jr.; two grandchildren, Orlando Beale Jr. and Erin Beale; a host of nieces and nephews among them Sonata Parks, Columbus Parks Jr., George Brown III and Wade Brown Jr. and cousins; sisters and brothers-in-law and other relatives and friends. Remains rest at Joseph Jenkins Jr. Funeral Home, 2011 Grayland Avenue. Funeral services will be held Friday 11AM at Ebenezer Baptist Church, 216 W. Leigh Street where remains will lie in state one hour prior to funeral time. Dr. Levy M. Armwood(pastor) off. Interment Riverview Cemetery. Family and friends assemble at the church 10:45AM Friday.
