Caleb Departed this life October 9, 2008. John J. Caleb of Richmond. He is survived by his wife, Lois Taylor Caleb; five daughters; JoAnn Caleb, Daphine Taylor, M. Gail Townes, Nina Caleb, and Alicia Matthews; seven grandchildren; one sister, Adele White; two brothers, Thomas and Oscar J. Caleb; a host of nieces, nephews and cousins; three sons-in-law, Lt. Kenneth L. Townes, Mark C. Taylor and Dr. Tokunbo Matthews; four sisters-in-law; two step daughters, Felecia Howell and Cassandra Snead and other relatives and friends. Remains rest at Joseph Jenkins Jr. Funeral Home, 2011 Grayland Avenue where the family will receive friends from 3 to 4PM on Sunday, October 12, 2008. Funeral services will be held Monday 1P.M., October 13, 2008 at First Baptist Church, Manakin-Sabot where remains will lie in state one hour prior to funeral time. Rev. Deborah Sams(interim pastor).
