Rosa Williams Covington

Covington, Departed this life October 20, 2008. Deaconess Rosa Covington, age 95, of Richmond. She is preceded in death by her husband, James Covington; one daughter, Cordelia Brice; three sons, Oscar(Boo) Williams, Rev. James E. Williams Sr. and David L. Williams Sr. She is survived by ten grandchildren among them a devoted Cecelia(Peaches) Booker; 11 great grandchildren; 16 great great grandchildren; a host of nieces, nephews and cousins; one daughter-in-law, Annie Williams; and other relatives and friends. Remains rest at Joseph Jenkins Jr. Funeral Home, 2011 Grayland Avenue. Funeral services will be held Friday 12 noon at Fairfield Baptist Church, 1500 Mechanicsville Tnpk where remains will lie in state one hour prior to funeral time. Rev. Bobby Holmes(pastor) off. Interment Mt. Calvary Cemetery. Family and friends assemble at the church 11:45AM Friday.
