James Edward Moore

Departed this life November 28, 2014. James Edward Moore, age 92, of Richmond. He is preceded in death by his wife, Christine Moore. He is survived by one step son, James Mayo(Cynthia); step grandsons, Keith and Craig Mayo; seven step great grandchildren; five nieces, among them a devoted Patricia Young; five nephews; a host of cousins; two sisters-in-law, Alease Jackson and Alfredia Berry and other relatives and friends. Remains rest at Joseph Jenkins Jr. Funeral Home, 2011 Grayland Avenue. Funeral services will be held 11AM Thursday at Fifth Baptist Church, 1415 W. Cary Street, where remains will lie in state one hour prior to funeral time. Rev. Earl Brown(pastor) off. Interment Forest Lawn Cemetery. Family and friends assemble at the church 10:45AM Thursday.
