Departed this life November 30, 2014. Lawrence “Piggy” Rogers, age 81, of Richmond. He is survived by his wife, Carrie Rogers; two daughters, Kimberly Rogers and Melanie Johnson; six grandchildren; two great grandchildren; three sisters, Alice Morgan, Claudette Chrisp and Anne T. Rogers; one brother, Bernard L. Rogers; a host of nieces, nephews and cousins; one son-in-law, Vincent Johnson; five sisters-in-law; four brothers-in-law and other relatives and friends. Remains rest at Joseph Jenkins Jr. Funeral Home, 2011 Grayland Avenue where funeral services will be held Saturday at 11AM. Rev. Sheila Bloomfield-Williams off. Interment Riverview Cemetery. Family and friends assemble at the funeral home 10:45AM Saturday.
