Departed this life December 3, 2014. Mrs. Lorraine J. Patton, age 76, of Richmond. She was a past matron of Nannie Jones Perkins Chapter 161(Prince Hall Affiliated). She is survived by her husband, Robert Patton Sr.; one daughter, Regina P. Scruggs; one son, Robert Patton Jr.; four grandchildren; one great grandson; three sisters, Edith J. Powell, Carolyn J. Claude and Brenda J. Lewis; three brothers, Bobby, James and Larry Jefferson, a host of nieces, nephews and cousins; her step mother-in-law, Lilia Patton; one daughter-in-law, Kimberly Patton; one son-in-law, Keith Scruggs Sr.; three sisters-in-law; Barbara & Cinquetta Jefferson and Audrey P. Reid; five brothers-in-law; Nathaniel Powell Sr, William Claude, Floyd Lewis and Edward L. and Frank Jr. Patton; and other relatives and friends. Remains rest at Joseph Jenkins Jr. Funeral Home, 2011 Grayland Avenue. Funeral services will be held Saturday 1:30PM at Sixth Baptist Church, 400 So. Addison Street where remains will lie in state one hour prior to funeral time. Dr. Yvonne Bibbs(pastor) off. Interment Riverview Cemetery. Family and friends assemble at the church 1:15PM Saturday.
