Berry, Departed this life November 3, 2008. Mrs. Christine V. Berry of Richmond. She is survived by her husband, Leon Berry; three daughters, Leontyne and Miriam Berry and Althea Brooks; three sons, Leon Jr., Frank and Nathan Berry; ten grandchildren; nine great grandchildren; one sister, Nadine Jones; six brothers; Alvin, Major and Richard Coles, Robert Epps, James and Michael Trice; a host of nieces, nephews and cousins; two daughters-in-law, Shelly and Charlene Berry; one son-in-law, Floyd Brooks; one sister-in-law, Thelma Grant; and other relatives and friends. Remains rest at Joseph Jenkins Jr. Funeral Home, 2011 Grayland Avenue where the family will receive friends Friday from 4PM to 5:30PM. Funeral services will be held Saturday 11A.M at Pilgrim Journey Baptist Church, 7204 Bethlehem Road where remains will lie in state one hour prior funeral time. Dr. Angelo Chatmon(pastor) Rev. A. V. Smith off. Interment Greenwood Memorial Gardens. Family and friends assemble at the church 10:45A.M. Saturday.
