Pemberton, Departed this life November 7, 2008. Roy(Iron Man) Pemberton of Richmond. He is survived by one son, Kenneth W. Frye; five grandchildren, Aaron Johnson, Jasmine andTiffany Frye, and Timothy and Eric Mayfield; three sisters, Barbara Pearson, Robinette Carter and Velma Pemberton; two brothers, Owen and Cedric Pemberton; two aunts, Adelaide Warren and Mabel Jackson; one uncle, Herbert Jackson; a host of nieces, nephews and cousins; one daughter-in-law, Lucinda Mayfield Frye; one sister-in-law, Nicole Pemberton; one brother-in-law, Harvey Carter; and other relatives and friends among them his companion, Mildred Green & her daughter, Andrea Hackett and his god son, David Al-Amin. Remains rest at Joseph Jenkins Jr. Funeral Home, 2011 Grayland Avenue where funeral services will be held Friday at 1PM. Rev. James Jackson off. Interment Mt. Calvary Cemetery. Family and friends assemble at the funeral home 12:45PM Friday.
