Thomas, Departed this life November 8, 2008. Mrs. Eugenia R. Thomas, formerly of S. Meadow Street. She is preceded in death by her husband, Warren R. Thomas. She is survived by one daughter, Angela Eskridge(Don); two sons, Eugene Sr.(Sheila S.) and Wayne Sr.(Sheila M.) Thomas; four grandchildren; Martin Wilson and Eugene Jr., Wayne Jr. and Joseph Thomas; one great granddaughter, Leah Thomas; one sister, Bernice Scott; a host of nieces, nephews and cousins; one sister-in-law, Martha Thomas; and other relatives and friends. Remains rest at Joseph Jenkins Jr. Funeral Home, 2011 Grayland Avenue where the family will receive friends from 6:30 to 7:30PM on Wednesday. Funeral services will be held Thursday 12 noon at Garland Avenue Baptist Church, 2700 Garland Avenue where remains will lie in one hour prior funeral time. Rev. Clifford B. Chamliss Jr. off. Interment Mt. Calvary Cemetery. Family and friends assemble at the church 11:45A.M. thursday.
