Santa Poteat

Departed this life December 20, 2014. Mrs. Santa C. Poteat, age 89, of Richmond. She is preceded in death by her husband, John H. Poteat III. She is survived by six daughters; Johnetta Hunt, Paula Harvey, Vicki Poteat, Deborah Smith, Dorothy Gillespie and Carla Murchison; 13 grandchildren; 25 great grandchildren; a host of nieces, nephews; four sons-in-law; Frank Harvey, Aubrey Smith, Robert Gillespie and Antonio Murchison and other relatives and friends. Remains rest at Joseph Jenkins Jr. Funeral Home, 2011 Grayland Avenue. Funeral services will be held Saturday 12 noon at Refuge Temple Assembly of Yahweh, located at the corner of First and Clay Streets. Bishop Milton Hunt(pastor) off. Interment private. Family and friends assemble at the church 11:45AM Saturday.
