Ruth Grimes Crump

Departed this life December 23, 2014. Mrs. Ruth Grimes-Crump, age 60, of Richmond. She was a consultant of education with the state of Virginia. She was a member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc. She is survived by two sisters, Deloris Tabb and Peggy Grimes; one aunt, Bertha Gardner; a host of nieces, nephews and cousins; one brother-in-law, Stapleton B. Tabb and other relatives and friends. Remains rest at Joseph Jenkins Jr. Funeral Home, 2011 Grayland Avenue. Funeral services will be held Saturday 11AM at 31st Street Baptist Church, 823 N. 31st Street where remains will lie in state one hour prior to funeral time. Dr. Morris Henderson(pastor) off. Interment Union Zion Baptist Church Cemetery. Family and friends assemble at the church 10:45AM Saturday.
