Departed this life November 14, 2008. Mrs. Ada Fenner Snead, formerly of Glen Allen, and affectionately known as “Sister” to her family, was drawn into the quietness of God’s solitude on Friday November 14, 2008. She was preceded in death by her husband Junius A. Snead Sr. She leaves to cherish her memory one daughter, Yvette Snead Johnson and one son Junius A.(J.A.) Snead Jr.; one granddaughter, Terri A. Snead; two great grandchildren, Jasmine and Khyliek; three brothers; Moses, Walter and William Fenner; a host of nieces, nephews and cousins among them a devoted nephew, Theodore Jones; one son-in-law, Wallace H. Johnson; seven sisters-in-law; Gloria Crawley, Martha, Rosa, Barbara, Eloise and Deloris Snead and Sarah Fenner; four brothers -in-law; Clyde Crawley, Isaac Jr, Mack and Edward Snead; two stepgrandsons, Travis and Damian; three step great grandsons; Kenny, Travis and Terrell and other relatives and friends, among them Sandra Spady. Remains rest at Joseph Jenkins Jr. Funeral Home, 2011 Grayland Avenue. Funeral services will be held tuesday 12 Noon at Quioccasin Baptist Church, 9011 Quioccasin Road where remains will lie in state one hour prior funeral time. Dr. Andrew Mosley off. Interment Greenwood Memorial Gardens. Family and friends assemble at the church 11:45AM tuesday.
