Gladys M. Gibson

Mrs. Gladys M. Gibson, Age 88 of Richmond. Beloved Mother and Grandmother departed this life Monday January 26, 2015. She was preceded in death by her parents, sister and brother, husband, David L. Gibson Sr., daughter, Evelyn A. Gibson and son, David Gibson Jr. She leaves to cherish her memories her daughters, Mary Gibson and Gladys L. Coleman; grandchildren, Demetria Charity, Terrance, Brice and Marcellus Gibson and Christopher Coleman; Great Grandchildren, Alina, Makala, Caleb, Sanai and Samaya; sisters-in-law, Edith Harris and Sarah Bowman; daughter-in-law, Bobbye Gibson and a host of special nieces, nephews, cousins, relatives and friends. Special thanks to the staff at The Laurels of University Park. Remains rest at Joseph Jenkins Jr. Funeral Home, 2011 Grayland Avenue. Funeral services will be held 12 Noon Monday at Sixth Baptist Church 400 S. Addison Street where remains will lie in state 1 hour prior funeral time. Dr. Yvonne Bibbs(pastor) officiating, Rev. Harold Solomon eulogy. Interment Mt. Calvary Cemetery. Family and friends assemble at the church 11:45am Monday.
