Rachel H. Tisdale

Tisdale, Departed this life November 29, 2008. Deaconess Rachel Tisdale of Richmond. She is preceded in death by her husband, James E. Tisdale and one daughter, Rachel T. Frierson. She is survived by two daughters, Geraldine T. Bannister and Kathleen T. Jones; two sons, Edward L. and Joseph A. Tisdale; eight grandchildren; two great grandchildren; two sisters, Ruth Hickman and Ruby Joyner; one brother, Joseph S. Hutcheson; a host of nieces, nephews and cousins; two daughters-in-law Joan and Ann Tisdale; one son-in-law, Reginald Jones; six sisters-in-law; two brothers-in-law and other relatives and friends. She was a past worthy matron of Henrico Chapter, 78(Prince Hall Afilliated). She was also a past chaplain of the Women’s Auxillary of the Deacon’s Conference of Richmond and Vicinity. Remains rest at Joseph Jenkins Jr. Funeral Home, 2011 Grayland Avenue. Funeral services will be held Friday 12 noon at Grace Institutional Baptist Church, 300 W. Roanoke Street where remains will lie in state one hour prior funeral time. Apostle Michael Bennett(pastor) off. Interment Mt. Calvary Cemetery. Family and friends assemble at the church 11:45AM Friday.
