Donald G. Hatcher

Departed this life February 8, 2015. Donald G. Hatcher, age 75, of Richmond. He is preceded in death by his wife, Gwendolyn Veronica Hatcher. He was vocal on many issues in city politics and hosted a local talk show called the “the Agitator.” He is survived by four daughters; Rondalynn Hatcher Ali, Norita Hatcher, Suzette Hatcher Davis and Valerie D. Hatcher; one son, Gordon R. Hatcher; one step son, Byron L. Harris; seven grandchildren; one great grandchild; two brothers, Reginald Hatcher and Bernard Hatcher; a host of nieces, nephews and cousins; two daughters-in-law, Doreen Hatcher and Deneal Harris; two sons-in-law, Saied Ali and Isaiah Davis; four sisters-in-law, Viola & Sally Hatcher and Dorothea Pearson & Edna Jones; and other relatives and friends. Remains rest at Joseph Jenkins Jr. Funeral Home,, 2011 Grayland Avenue where the family will receive friends from 6:30 to 7:30PM Monday and where funeral services will be held 10am Tuesday. Interment Quantico National Cemetery. Family and friends assemble at the funeral home 9:45AM Tuesday.
