Ulysses Boyd Sr.

Departed this life February 12, 2015. Ulysses Boyd Sr., age 94, of Richmond. He is preceded in death by his wife, Erma Boyd. He is survived by two devoted daughters, Denise Bangura and Doris Ann Boyd; one devoted son, Ulysses Boyd Jr.; four grandchildren; Tarrance, Tiffany, Ulysses III and Akheem Boyd; two great grandchildren, Teon McQueen and T’Aris Boyd; two sisters, Mary Elizabeth Pope and Lucille Dixon; a host of nieces and nephews; one daughter-in-law, Doris Marie Boyd; one son-in-law, Mulku Bangura; four brothers-in-law, Sydney Pope & Grover Dixon and Edward & Douglas Jenkins; and other relatives and friends. Remains rest at Joseph Jenkins Jr. Funeral Home, 2011 Grayland Avenue where funeral services will be held Saturday at 1PM. Interment Riverview Cemetery. Family and friends assemble at the funeral home 12:45PM Saturday.
