Departed this life February 12, 2015. Mrs. Ruth Scott, age 52, of Richmond. She is survived by one son, Carl Scott Jr.(Crystal); her mother, Mary Ellett; two sisters, Frances W. Bolling(Freddie) and Diane W. Davis; three brothers; Nathaniel, Carlton(Sheila) and Michael(Tonya) Williams; five aunts; a host of nieces, nephews and cousins; and other relatives and friends among them two devoted, Carl Scott Sr. ,Veronica Williams and Kelly Dowtin. Remains rest at Joseph Jenkins Jr. Funeral Home, 2011 Grayland Avenue. Funeral services will be held Friday 1PM at Fifth Baptist Church, 1415 W. Cary Street where remains will lie in state one hour prior to funeral time. Rev. Earl Brown(pastor). Interment Riverview Cemetery. Family and friends assemble at the church 12:45PM.
