Fennie Henderson

Departed this life March 2, 2015. Richard Fennie Henderson, age 85, of Richmond. He is preceded in death by his wife, Sharlene H. Henderson. He is survived by four daughters; Patricia Elam, Mechell Fleming, Carlene Harper and Dorothy Henderson; five sons; Richard Henderson Jr., Michael D. Hall, James S. Henderson, Joseph Jones and Ricardo Henderson; 19 grandchildren; 16 great grandchildren; a host of nieces, nephews and cousins among them Nell Bumbry and Augustus Alexander; four daughters-in-law; one son-in-law; one sister-in-law; two brother- in-law and other relatives and friends. Remains rest at Joseph Jenkins Jr. Funeral Home, 2011 Grayland Avenue where the family will receive friends Friday from 6:30 to 7:30PM. Funeral services will be held Saturday 1PM at Riverview Baptist Church, 2604 Idlewood Avenue where remains will lie in state one hour prior to funeral time. Dr. Stephen Hewlett(pastor) off. Interment Mt. Calvary Cemetery. Family and friend assemble at the church 12:45PM Saturday.
