of Richmond, departed this life March 6, 2015. He is survived by his wife, Julia G. Johnson; two sisters, Jean Herbert and Barbara Woolfolk; one brother, Morgan Johnson; a host of nieces, among them, Jackie Logan and Cynthia Brown; and nephews, among them, Thurman Smith Jr., Gary Woolfolk and Ronald Johnson; and cousins; two sisters-in-law, Bertha Johnson and Bessie Battle; one brother-in-law, George Clarke; and other relatives and friends. Remains rest at Joseph Jenkins Jr. Funeral Home, 2011 Grayland Ave., where funeral services will be held Thursday, at 12 noon. Interment private.
