Rosa Lee Cooper

Rosa Lee Cooper of Chester, Virginia transitioned to her Heavenly Home on Friday March 13, 2015 at the V.C.U. Medical Center. She is preceded in death by her husband, Raiford L. Cooper and one sister, Jean Carter. She leaves to cherish her memories five devoted daughters; Sandra Spears, Norma Sconion, Barbara Jones, Andrea Light and Iris Jones; 23 grandchildren; 20 great grandchildren; two sisters, Doris E. Jones and Barbara Chavis; three brothers; Samuel Jr., Frank, and William Edwards; a host of nieces, nephews and cousins among them a devoted Yvonne Jennings; three sons-in- law; Robert Spears, Clinton Jones and Dwayne Sconion; three sisters-in-law; Jeanette and Joyce Edwards, and Dorothy Payne; and other relatives and friends. Remains rest at Joseph Jenkins Jr. Funeral Home, 2011 Grayland Avenue where the family will receive friends from 12 noon until hour of funeral Wednesday. A “Celebration of Life” service will be held Wednesday at 1PM. Interment Maury Cemetery.
