Mrs. Elaine Elsie Mills passed away peacefully on March 20, 2015. She is survived by four adoring children; Robert(Joyce) Armstong, Miriam Armstong, Marcelle(Cornell) Hicks and Brian(Sherell) Mills; 11 grandchildren; 13 great grandchildren; one great great grandchild; a host of nieces, nephews and cousins; and other relatives and friends. Remains rest at Joseph Jenkins Jr. Funeral Home, 2011 Grayland Avenue where the family will receive friends from 6:30 to 7:30PM Thursday. Funeral services will be held Friday 11AM at Third Street Bethel AME Church, 614 N. Third Street where remains will lie in state one hour prior to funeral time. Rev. Reuben Boyd(pastor) off. Entombment Forest Lawn Cemetery. Family and friends assemble at the church 10:45AM Friday. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that contributions be made to Third Street Bethel AME Church in the memory of Elaine Mills.
