Charles Phillips

Charles Phillips, age 87, departed this life April 6, 2015. He is preceded in death by his wife, Sadie A. Phillip; mother, Mattie Phillips Brooks; daughter, Charlene Burns; two brothers, Richard and Ted Phillips. He is survived by one son, Clifton Phillips (Tracy Phillips); devoted grandchildren, Terry Satchell and Gary Burns (Donna Burns). Other grandchildren, Clinton and Chad Phillips; Benjamin Lockley and Shannon Hargrove. A sister, Lucille Lee; four sisters-in-law, one devoted, Rose Phillips; a devoted niece, Charita Lee; and a host of great grandchildren and other relatives. Remains rest at Joseph Jenkins Funeral Home, 2011 Grayland Ave. Funeral services will be held Monday at 11:00 with Rev. Tyrone Nelson officiating. Interment at Forest Lawn Cemetery. Family and Friends will assemble at the funeral home at 10:45 am.
