Thornton, Departed this life December 22, 2008. David(Tree) Thornton of New York, formerly of Richmond. He is preceded in death by his wife, Emily P. Thornton. He is survived by three daughters; Theresa Morris, Diane M. Harris and Marian Mills; 13 grandchildren; 14 great grandchildren; one sister.,Estelle Mosley; one brother,Garfield Thornton; a host of nieces, nephews and cousins; four sisters-in-law, Barbara and Francheska Pyfrom and Elizabeth Johnson and other relatives and friends. Remains rest at Joseph Jenkins Jr. Funeral Home, 2011 Grayland Avenue where funeral services will be held Tuesday at 1PM. Dr. Ricardo Brown off. Interment Mt. Calvary Cemetery. Family and friends assemble at the funeral home 12:45PM Tuesday.
