He is survived by his devoted companion, Patricia Wells; three daughters; Vanessa Wells, Rebecca Phillips and Patricia Michelle Johnson; six sons; James, David & Jonathan Phillips; Alfonso, Kevin and Jammie Johnson, 12 grandchildren; six great grandchildren; and other relatives and friends. Remains rest at Joseph Jenkins Jr. Funeral Home, 2011 Grayland Avenue where funeral services will be held 1P.M. Friday. Interment private. Family and friends assemble at the funeral home 12:45PM Friday
