Clara Davis

Departed this life April 28, 2015. Mrs. Clara Davis, age 83, of Chester. She is preceded in death by her husband, Bennie Davis. She is survived by two sisters, Frances Brown and Ernestine Allen; three brothers; Jimmy Brown, Franklin Brown(Cynthia) and Isaac Crew Jr.(Daisy); four stepgrandchildren; a host of nieces, nephews and cousins; and other relatives and friends. The family and friends of Sister Clara Davis loved her very much. She was a devoted and faithful loving Christian whom will be greatly missed. Remains rest at Joseph Jenkins Jr. Funeral Home, 2011 Grayland Avenue. Funeral services will be held 12 noon Tuesday at the Refuge Temple of Our Lord Jesus Christ of the Apostolic Faith, (1890 Boydton Plank Road, Petersburg, Virginia 23805), where remains will lie in state one hour prior to funeral time. Elder Jerry Rose(pastor) off. Interment Sunset Memorial Park. Family and friends assemble at the church 11:45AM Tuesday.
