Departed this life May 2, 2015. Ms. Gladys Rooks, age 72, of Richmond. She is preceded in death by one daughter, Cynthia Rowell. She is survived by three sons; Matthew Blunt, Sylvester Blunt and Daniel Rooks; one sister, Patricia Booth; one aunt, Mary Lee Turner; a host of nieces, nephews and cousins; and other relatives and friends. Remains rest at Joseph Jenkins Jr. Funeral Home, 2011 Grayland Avenue where funeral services will be held Friday at 1PM. Rev. Melvin Scoggins off. Interment Riverview Cemetery. Family and friends assemble at the funeral home 12:45PM friday.
