Departed this life May 7, 2015. Anwar Salaam Edwards, age 34, of Richmond. He is survived by three children; Kylie, Joshua and Brenna; mother, Lucinda Shamsid-Deen; father, Hanif Shamsid-Deen; two sisters, Taheerah and Shahidah; two brothers, Abdul-Karriem and Eric; one aunt; three uncles; a host of nieces, nephews and cousins; and other relatives and friends among them a devoted companion, Yvonne Burgess and daughters, Melinda and Jenni and granddaughter, Grayson. Janazah will be held Monday 2PM at Joseph Jenkins Jr. Funeral Home, 2011 Grayland Avenue. Interment Al-Bazarkh Cemetery. Family and friends assemble at the funeral home 1:45PM Monday.
