Snead, Departed this life January 4, 2009. Miss Monica Diane Snead, age 14, of Richmond. She is survived by her mother, Cassandra Lynn Snead; her father, Joseph Holmes; three sisters; Cheree Snead, Catherine Jackson, and Hatice Cooley; six brothers; Larry Jr, Matthew and Antonio Snead, Samuel Jones, Thaddeus Flowers and Joseph Cooley; maternal grandmother, Lois Taylor Caleb; maternal grandfather, Melvin Howell(Joyce); paternal grandmother, Hatice Holmes; three aunts; Felecia Howell , Jacqueline Holmes and Bernice Hodges; two uncles; Barry and David Holmes; a host of nieces, nephews and cousins; one sister-in-law, Iyasha Snead; one brother-in-law, Charles Gross; and other relatives and friends among them her god parents, Horace and Lelia Davis. Remains rest at Joseph Jenkins Jr. Funeral Home, 2011 Grayland Avenue where the family will receive friends from 6:30 to 7:30PM on Thursday. Funeral services will be held Friday 11AM at First Baptist Church Manakin-Sabot where remains will lie in state one hour prior funeral time. _______________________ off.
