Byrd, Departed this life January 6, 2009, Mrs. Joyce Byrd of Glen Allen. She is survived by her husband, Stanley Byrd; one daughter, Paulette Byrd; one son, Alexis Randall Manley; three grandchildren; Corey White and Ashley and Aaron Manley; one great grandson, Corvonte Brown; her mother, Lillian Manley; four brothers; Roosevelt Jr., Howard and Larry Manley and Ray Taalid-Deen Muhammad.;____aunts, ____uncles; a host of nieces, nephews and cousins; her mother-in-law, Pauline B. Stone; one daughter-in-law, Jackie Manley; one sister-in-law, Wilhemina Manley and other relatives and friends. Remains rest at Joseph Jenkins Jr. Funeral Home, 2011 Grayland Avenue. Funeral services will be held Saturday 12 noon at Hood Temple AME Zion Church, 16 W. Clay Street where remains will lie in state one hour prior to funeral time. Dr. Kevin McGill(pastor) off. Interment Roselawn Memory Gardens. Family and friends assemble at the church 11:45 am Saturday.
